Assistant Algorithmic Trader (Madrid)

We offer internships leading to a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior algorithmic trader to assist and learn all aspects of trading and execution.

• Produce solid implementations of cutting edge pricing models and hedging tools.

• Maintain and improve existing report and backtesting procedures within the desk.

• Interact as part of the trading team in analyzing and implementing existing and new strategies.

Desired Skills and experience

• Undergraduates/MSc in his last year at school in a maths, physics or engineering.

• Sound knowledge of statistics and probability.

• Good understanding of algorithms and data structures.

• Strong programming skills in Python or Matlab. C++/C# will be positively valued.

• Experience applying and tuning models to real world problems is a plus.

• Strong communications skills in English.

• Interest and motivation for financial markets.

• Ability to work in fast paced and demanding environment.

• Experience in a team work environment.
